As his parents struggle to provide a decent life for him and his brothers in 1940s Ireland, the story follows young Franks experiences in a poverty-stricken landscape peopled by a drunken father, a helpless mother, pompous priests and bullying schoolmasters, building to his defiant escape to a new life in America.

Frank McCourts memoir consisting of memories and anecdotes from his childhood in America and Ireland was first published in 1996 and won the 1997 Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography.

An award winning film adaptation followed in 1999, co-written and directed by Alan Parker, and starring Emily Watson and Robert Carlyle as Franks parents.

The film soundtrack was composed and conducted by John Williams, and features songs by Billie Holiday and Sin?ad O'Connor. Final show times are subject to change and specific cast members cannot be guaranteed for every performance
